Sustainability

Our ESG Strategy

Our commitment to ESG is intrinsic to our Company’s purpose, mission, and DNA. Our main focus is on our customers, our people, and our communities, and for this reason, the social aspect of our ESG strategy carries the greatest weight. We prioritise minimising our environmental footprint and consistently uphold strict ethical principles in every aspect of our operations.

Our ESG framework is built around five pillars, which guide how we manage sustainability priorities across our operations and value chain. Our ESG roadmap translates these priorities into measurable goals and actions aligned with stakeholder expectations and global sustainability standards.

In 2026, Morningstar Sustainalytics1 recognised Verisure as a Global ESG Leader2, alongside Regional and Industry ESG Leader recognitions, marking the third consecutive year we have received these distinctions.

Social

Our Customers, People, and Communities

The reason we exist is to bring peace of mind to families and small businesses through Best-in-Class Protection, including a strong focus on Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and responsible digital innovation.

Our people are fundamental to the high-touch human service we provide. We are a technology-enabled, human services company with the winning combination of talent and leading-edge technology. We are recognised as an outstanding employer across all our geographies, reflecting our commitment to building a supportive and inspiring environment for our more than 30,000 colleagues, where they can grow, realise their full potential, and feel deeply connected and engaged with our mission and values.

We also take pride in our community impact. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy focuses on supporting vulnerable populations in need of protection in our local communities, with a particular focus on volunteering initiatives for our colleagues. In addition, we promote responsible practices across our value chain through sustainable sourcing.

Environmental

Our Planet

We remain committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 as part of our response to climate change. As an interim target, we aim to reduce our GHG emissions intensity by 40% by 2030 compared with our 2021 baseline, and to increase the share of renewable electricity used in our corporate buildings to 80% by 2030. In 2025, we achieved a 32.6% reduction in emissions intensity and increased renewable electricity use to 73%.

Our Product Lifecycle Management & Circularity strategy integrates sustainability across the lifecycle of our products and services to minimise environmental impact from the design phase onwards. In 2025, we introduced a Waste Management Standard to strengthen responsible waste handling and support our ambition of zero waste to landfill by 2035.

Governance

Ethics & Integrity

Acting with trust and responsibility is central to Verisure’s culture. We are committed to enabling our people to uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in everything we do.

Our Verisure Compliance Programme, supported by our Code of Conduct and policies on anti-bribery, data privacy, fair competition, and Speak Up reporting, helps us maintain responsible business conduct across our operations and value chain. Our approach is based on four pillars: zero tolerance for misconduct, prevention through awareness and training, detection and monitoring via accessible reporting channels, and consistent, proportionate action when issues arise.

In 2025, we continued to strengthen our governance framework by introducing a Governance, Risk and Compliance tool, enhancing risk monitoring, transparency, and accountability while reinforcing the trust placed in us by our customers, partners, and stakeholders.

The Key Role of Our Stakeholders

Creating positive impact requires collaboration across our entire value chain.

We regularly engage with customers, employees, investors, suppliers, and communities to understand expectations and integrate their feedback into our strategy and decision-making.

We are proud of our continued progress on ESG since this is intrinsic to our mission. Our main focus is on our customers, our people and our communities. For that reason, the social aspect of our ESG strategy carries most weight."

Double Materiality Assessment

Our Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) was reviewed and updated in 2025 in line with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The assessment combines internal analysis, industry research, and stakeholder input to identify the ESG topics most relevant to our business and value chain.

Through this process, we established 12 material ESG topics that form the foundation of our sustainability strategy and reporting, including Digitalisation & Artificial Intelligence as a new material topic in 2025. This addition reflects the growing importance of responsible digital innovation and AI governance in our sector.

Stakeholder insights, together with internal expertise and external benchmarks, help shape our ESG priorities that reflect both societal expectations and the strategic needs of our business.
