Verisure Sustainability Performance Update: 2024
Verisure, the leading provider of professionally monitored security systems for residential and small business customers in Europe and Latin America, has published its 2024 Sustainability Report.
The company’s commitment to ESG is inherent to its purpose, mission, and corporate values. This involves a focus on its customers, people, and the communities it serves, alongside protecting the planet and operating with a strong commitment to ethics & integrity.
The latest report and performance show strong progress across many key focus areas of the Verisure ESG strategy in 2024.

Some of the 2024 highlights across Verisure’s key strategic ESG pillars include:
- Our Customers: In 2024, Verisure teams received and managed more than 77 million alarm signals, and supported customers in more than 352,000 incidents requiring onsite assistance.
- Our People: Verisure was once again recognised as one of the best companies to work for in 2024, with certifications across 12 countries as a ‘Top Employer®’ and/or a ‘Great Place To Work®’. In addition, the company has just been named as ‘Top Employer® in Europe’ for the second time in a row. In 2024, the company made progress towards its gender ambition for 2030, reaching 38.3% company overall women representation and 28.3% in leadership roles, respectively.
- Our Communities: The Verisure Volunteer Programme was launched in 2024 and saw more than 1,000 Verisure teammates contributing their time, knowledge, and skills through a coordinated volunteering effort to help and protect those in need. Additionally, the company successfully passed the ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement external audit, as part of its Sustainable Sourcing strategy.
- Our Planet: In 2024, Verisure reached a 24.7% reduction in GHG emission intensity based on revenues vs 2021, making positive strides towards its goal of reducing total emission intensity by 40% by 2030. The use of renewable electricity in Verisure offices and buildings has also more than doubled over the past year, reaching 55% and getting closer to the target of 80% by 2030.
The company also launched three new ESG policies: the Verisure Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Policy; the Verisure Environmental Policy; and the Verisure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy. In addition, Verisure reinforced its commitment to the UN Global Compact initiative and continued to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In 2024 and 2025, Morningstar Sustainalytics*, which reviews the ESG Risk Rating of more than 15,000 companies, recognised Verisure Midholding AB as an ESG Global 50 Top Rated company and an ESG Regional and Industry Top Rated company. This sustained recognition reflects the collective efforts and dedication of all Verisure colleagues.
